THE NCEIA DOLPHIN MUSIC AWARDS ENTRY PROCESS:
- Decide whether you want to become a member ~ see "membership" tab at top of page.
- Read the category criteria thoroughly by clicking on the category listing under "Dolphin Awards" tab.
- Read the rules and conditions under the "Dolphin Awards" tab.
- Purchase song credits ~ see under "my account" tab.
- Receive your Log in email.
- Log in ~ see under "My Account" tab.
- Upload your entry songs through the website ~ see under "My Account" tab. ( if album of year or production category is selected you will need to mail or drop off 4 hard copies ~ the form page will advise as to where.
- If you have any questions check to see if it is answered on the frequently asked question page.

TIPS OF THE DAY -
- To sign in use the same email address as you did before If you have been in the system before.
- If you no longer know your pass word you can reset it and it will arrive in your email folder.
- Check the junk mail folder if you can't find you email/s from this website.
- Remember to put your entry number with your hard copies when you send them in (Album of the Year, Production and Music Video).
Please note: Each credit entitles you to one entry in any category. For example, if you purchase five credits, you can select any category for each of your five entries.

Question: What is an NCEIA Audition Concert?
Answer: NCEIA periodically hold auditions where unsigned original artists from the 02 66 area code are given the opportunity to play on the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards stage.
Question: When are the 2017 NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards on?
Answer: Tuesday the 24th October 2017 at the Ballina RSL Club.
Question: What is the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards?
Answer: NCEIA (the North Coast Entertainment Industry Association) acknowledges, supports and encourages unsigned original musicians in the 02 66 telephone area code, (Bellingen to Tweed) by holding the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards where artists/bands submit their songs on this website, Three renowned judges per category/genre, (approx 60 judges in all), judge the entries and the finalists and winners receive recognition and prizes at the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards night held on the 24th of October this year at the Ballina RSL Club. .
Question: When do the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards Entries open?
Answer: Entries open on the 8th of July 2017.
Question: When do the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards Entries close?
Answer: Entries close on the 8th of September 2017.
Question: What is the meaning of "Independent"?
Answer: An Independent artist is not signed to a recording label at the time of entering the awards although an independent artist's music may be distributed by a distribution label.
Question: Does it cost money to enter the NCEIA Dolphin Music Awards?
Answer: Yes there is a sliding scale depending on how many songs you enter and whether you choose to become a member or not. The entry fees go towards the cost of holding the awards.
Question: What is a credit?
Answer: One credit is what you purchase to be able to enter one song or one album entry into the awards.
Question: How do I get the discount off my entries when I purchase five or more entries?
Answer: When you select to purchase five or more entries the discount will automatically be calculated. Note that if you want to receive the discount you must purchase your multiple entries in one singular purchase transaction because the system can not calculate the discount over more than one transaction.
Question: How do I get my password to log in with?
Answer: It will be emailed to you. (if you don't receive it straight away check your junk mail file)
Question: How do I log in?
Answer: Make sure you have your password, (which has been emailed to you), ready then hover over 'My Account' tab and click Log in.
Question: What will I need to have ready before I enter?
Answer: your song/s in MP3 format; a promo photo and a short bio about yourself (no more than a 100 words).
Question: What if my category requires a hard copy, what do I do?
Answer: when you select your category on the form it will provide you with the details that you need or read the next few questions.
Question: What will I need to have ready if I am entering Album of the year or the production categories?
Answer: 4 x hard copies need to be mailed to NCEIA or dropped in to the Lismore Jewel Centre, (you will still need to enter through the website as well where you will get your entry number which you need to put with your hard copies before you mail or drop them off.
Question: What will I need to have ready if I am entering the Music Video category?
Answer: 4 x hard copies, (DVD's that can be played on any machine is preferable), need to be mailed to NCEIA or dropped in to the Lismore Jewel Centre, (you will still need to enter through the website as well where you will get your entry number which you need to put with your hard copies before you mail or drop them off.
Question: Where do I send the hard copies to?
Answer: The address will be shown when you enter through the website or if you need to look it up again go to the contact page or if you need to drop them off you can drop them into the Lismore Jewel Centre in the middle of Molesworth Street.
Question: why 4 hard copies?
Answer: there are 3 judges and one to play on the night if it makes it into the finals. Album of the year is judged as a whole package; Production needs to have a higher quality than the other song categories and video files are too large to upload.
We are looking forward to the NBN coming in hoping that it will allow us to have all of the files uploaded as larger and better quality files through the website.

Answer: Click browse on the entry page, locate your file and open to upload it.
Question: Can I check my entries?
Answer: Hover over 'My Account' and select my entries.
Question: Why can't we enter large better quality files?
Answer: We are looking forward to the NBN coming in hoping that it will allow us to have all of the files uploaded as larger and better quality files through the website but at this time our upload and often the judges download allowance won't allow for easy access to the files if they are large.
Question: My details have changed?
Answer: Hover over 'My Account' and select my 'Update Preferences' to change you contact details.
Question: Who can enter the production category?
Answer: Either the producer or the artist can enter this the production category.
Question: I've made a mistake what do I do?
Answer: Go to the 'Contact Us' page and email us from there. It may take a couple of days but we will get back to you and fix the problem at our end if we need to.
